When you just need help, Catholic Charities
of the Diocese of La Crosse offers:
Adoption
Building new families is a wonderful way Catholic Charities
has been serving our community for over a century. We help
families prepare to welcome an adoptive child, whether an
infant, a child with special needs or an international "gift
of love." We also help birth parents in the difficult but
loving adoption discernment process. Catholic Charities
is here for you, helping to build fruitful, caring relationships
after the adoption as well. To read more about our post-adoption
services, visit our Friends of Adoption Web site.
Bankruptcy
Services
Everyone considering bankruptcy protection must complete
a pre-filing "Bankruptcy Briefing Session." Catholic
Charities has been approved to issue certificates in compliance
with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure
the quality of an Agency's services. We offer confidential
briefing sessions and group sessions with compassionate
credit counselors.
Birth
Parent Support Services
We counsel expectant birth mothers and fathers each day.
We'll listen and help you make the best decision for you
and your child. We'll also provide information, support
and referrals to help you deal with other concerns or crises
in your life.
