PROJECT STEP UP FAMILIES
Project Step Up families are unique and each family as a significant story.
Program Families are motivated to:
- Set and accomplish goals to achieve financial stability
- Gain accountability in achieving success
- Aquire problem solving skills
- Build family unity
- Gain community resource awareness and supportive relationship
- Develop life skills in basic budgeting, banking, consumer skills, credit and financial planning
Program Families' Eligibility/Requirements:
- One Year Commitment
- Participate in financial literacy courses
- Income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline
- Dependent children in the home
- One or more adults currently employed or attending school
- Resident of Marathon County
- Required to meet with Mentor and Program Coordinator on a regular basis
Families with increased financial stability have:

- Retirement Planning
- Ongoing Education
