PROJECT STEP UP FAMILIES

Project Step Up families are unique and each family as a significant story.

Program Families are motivated to:

  • Set and accomplish goals to achieve financial stability
  • Gain accountability in achieving success
  • Aquire problem solving skills
  • Build family unity
  • Gain community resource awareness and supportive relationship
  • Develop life skills in basic budgeting, banking, consumer skills, credit and financial planning

Program Families' Eligibility/Requirements:

  • One Year Commitment
  • Participate in financial literacy courses
  • Income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline
  • Dependent children in the home
  • One or more adults currently employed or attending school
  • Resident of Marathon County
  • Required to meet with Mentor and Program Coordinator on a regular basis

Families with increased financial stability have:

  • Retirement Planning
