Project Step Up

Catholic Charities is excited about adding the Marathon County Project Step-Up Program into their Financial Counseling Department.  This program was launched in January 2009 as an initiative of United Way of Marathon County.  Catholic Charities will continue to provide assistance  for these families with children who are struggling to make ends meet. With the help and support of a family mentor and case manager, families in our community can achieve a successful financial future for their children.

The program empowers participants to work with project staff and volunteers to set goals, and link to other community resources

  • Gain accountability in achieving success.
  • Aquire problem solving skills.

Who Benefits:

  • Low Income Workers - in development of effective financial strategies.
