For the most part, we live in a society of extraordinary wealth, and we are extraordinarily blessed.
However, there are many among us who are most vulnerable, whose lives are on the fringe of
society; lives that witness poverty, mental illness, hunger, and displacement. Sojourner House is
a safe haven, a place of refuge for those who would otherwise not have a place to sleep, to shower,
clean their clothes, and have breakfast. A coalition of many churches, community organizations,
and people of goodwill has partnered to provide this vital resource for the Chippewa Valley.
Catholic Charities is pleased to have worked with this coalition and will serve as the lead agency
and owner of Sojourner House.
